Latino Artists Showcase Their Work in Long Beach in Honor of Hispanic Heritage Month

Long Beach Latin Artists Honor Hispanic Heritage Month With New Exhibit

The exhibit, titled "Raíces: Our Roots," features the work of 12 Latino artists from Long Beach.

The exhibit is a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15.

The artists in the exhibit use a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.

The exhibit is on display at the Long Beach Museum of Art through October 23.

The exhibit is a collaboration between the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Latin Business Association of Long Beach.

The exhibit is curated by Cecilia Gutíerrez, the museum's curator of Latin American art.

Gutiérrez said the exhibit is an important opportunity to showcase the work of Latino artists in Long Beach.

"This exhibit is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Long Beach," she said. "The artists in this exhibit are using their art to tell their own stories and to share their experiences with the community."

The exhibit is free to the public.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
