Zverev Continues Title Defence in the Fourth Round
Carballes Baena Makes History in Wimbledon Run
Another day, another match, another win for Alexander Zverev at Wimbledon.
The German, seeded second in this year's tournament, continued his impressive run with a straight-sets victory over Tommy Paul in the third round. Zverev has been in imperious form so far, dropping just one set in his three matches. He will be looking to continue that form when he takes on Roberto Carballes Baena in the fourth round.
Carballes Baena is ranked 101st in the world, but he has been one of the surprise packages of this year's Wimbledon. The Spaniard has already beaten two seeded players, including Marin Cilic in the first round. He will be hoping to cause another upset when he takes on Zverev.
The match between Zverev and Carballes Baena is scheduled to take place on Monday 4 July 2024. It will be a tough test for both players, but Zverev will be the favorite to progress to the quarter-finals.
