Plot

In the future, Earth is engaged in a war with the Arachnids, an intelligent alien race that threatens to destroy Earth. Johnny Rico enlists in the Mobile Infantry and undergoes rigorous training to become a soldier. He and his fellow soldiers are then sent to fight the Arachnids on the planet Klendathu.
